1. WHAT COOKIES ARE

2. HOW WE USE COOKIES
2.1. We use a deliberately small, first-party set of cookies, in two groups:
(a) Strictly necessary - required for the Services to function: sessions, security, abuse prevention and remembering your consent choices. These cannot be switched off; without them the Services do not work.
(b) Preferences and first-party analytics - remember your display settings and count tool usage with a pseudonymous identifier. Optional enrichment (approximate country and device class) happens only with your consent.
2.2. We do NOT use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies or social-media tracking pixels.
3. THE COOKIES WE SET
3.1. Current first-party cookies:
- tft_consent (strictly necessary; up to 12 months): stores your cookie-consent choices so we do not ask again on every visit.
- tft_guest (strictly necessary; about 25 minutes): a secure, httpOnly session token that lets you use the tools without an account.
- tft_gid (strictly necessary; up to 12 months): a stable, pseudonymous guest identifier so the Services recognise the same browser between visits (used for session continuity, rate limiting and abuse prevention).
- tft_prefs (preferences; up to 12 months): your display preferences - theme (light/dark), font and text size.
- tft_analytics (first-party analytics; up to 12 months): a pseudonymous identifier used to count tool usage (opens and runs). It contains no personal details, is not shared with anyone and is not used to track you across other websites.
3.2. Durations are maximums; actual lifetimes may be shorter. The exact set may evolve as the Services do - this page always lists the current cookies.
4. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
4.1. If you choose to make a voluntary contribution, the hosted checkout of the payment gateway (for example Razorpay) may set its own cookies to process the payment securely and to prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by the privacy and cookie policies of the gateway and are only set when you open the checkout.
5. YOUR CHOICES
5.1. Consent banner. On your first visit we ask for your choice before any non-essential processing begins. You can accept or decline with one click - both options are equally available.
5.2. Change your mind at any time. You can revisit your choices via the cookie preferences on the Services; withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
5.3. Browser controls. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the Services from working (for example, tools that need a session).
